this is the kind of thing that genuinely bothers me but i have achieved enough balance to let it go. But first, before i let it go, it bothers me.
So gross that YouTube used Dan for pride content when he was freshly out and then screwed him over for multiple projects AND now has been demonitizing and censoring almost all of his videos like they really did just want a pretty face to slap on billboards to say Look We Have Gay People with zero actual support for him as a person.
They didn’t want DAN they wanted an inspirational gay story to look good during pride month. He didn’t even want to do the pride stuff they were just holding everything else over his head.
Him and Phil are not the only queer creators who have been demonitized YouTube loves to use them to look progressive and then not pay them <3
